bought a roll and tossed em the sock drawer found em and they have some toning going on w/ them if I put in a 2x2 will they stop changing colour ? if I leave em in the roll will they turn an unatractive colour?

I found a roll of 2005 D Bison nickels and put them in one of those plastic rollers. They are fine, protected and un-toned.

Doesn't toning come from the status air or something? I think because you put it in the sock drawer, the fumes from the pine and paint caused it to tone. I guess if you just take it out of the drawer, they will stop.

As for the color, some might find attractive, others might not...

I am no expert on toning, but I beleive toning is produced by air, enviroment, chemicals, certain holders, heat...what am I missing guys?

stuck 1/2 of the roll back in my sock drawer think I will look at em in another couple of years and I will put a couple in 2x2

I put them in pvc free plastic wrap, and it locks out air, and moisture. Atleast I think this is a good idea?
