Hello daina and to the Forum!

These coins were still current as 10p until 1993 and even now some banks will exchange them for 10p. Unless it's in really superb condition (Uncirculated or nearly uncirculated) it doesn't really have any collector value. My local coin dealer has a tray of miscellaneous coins from around the world for 25p each, and he'd probably put a circulated 1955 florin in that tray.

Agreed - in nice uncirculated condition it would be worth a few pounds/dollars but anything less and it's a junk box coin.
