I picked this up on a recent junk silver purchase. With many more to compare it to, this is odd.
There appears to be separation on all obverse devices with weird midline annomalies. Multiple double serifs. I have found nothing similar on VV or Wexler except a similar 4 with doubled lower serifs.
I know that I will be repremanded for to many images, but the devices are very far apart and each one needs to be scrutinized.
There is a hit on the "B". Reeding hits lower left bust. Striations that look like finger prints that extend to far. Extra thickness on the brow area and face of the bust.
This is nothing like the tubes of 64 halves I have.
I hope the images are good enough for you to give an opinion.
Many thanks in advance of your responses.

@dow, these are great pics, but sorry--I'm not really seeing any split serifs.

Good pictures. Unfortunately the coin is harshly cleaned which will lower the Numismatic value, but in terms of junk silver you did just fine. Not seeing any doubling here either.

Where are you seeing the doubling?

I am not implying anything here. I am only asking for an explanation of what this is. Look at the devices in the date. This is normal? If my images were better, the 4 especially has double serifs at the bottom. Sorry bad pics.
So this is a perfectly normal strike compared to the dozens of 64's I have to compare it to? None of which even come close.
What is going on down the centerline of these devices?
I am not telling you what it is,I am asking.
Someone out there must have an image that looks just like this.
Or just PMD? Which can never be explained. You have to convince me that these annomalies happened after it was struck.
Why are the centerlines of the devices exhibiting the same irregularities?
Ok, it goes I with the rest of my 64 halves for melt value.
My research before I post is obviously meaningless.
Just show me something similar.

I am thinking perhaps the obverse was over polished, but also agree I see no doubling and this half has been harshly cleaned, making it post mint damage ( PMD). Sorry.

Great closeup pictures. What did you use to get such quality photos?

Top right of "I" in Liberty. Both sides of bottom of 4 in date. Top of 1 in date. Top of 4 in date. Top right of "Y" in Liberty. Far right horizontal of "L" in Liberty. Top left of "E" in Liberty. Left side of "B" in Liberty. Bottom right of "N" IGWT.
Maybe the images are not so good. Over polishing creates the separation on the devices? Surely the separation is visible.
Right side of upper "T" in Trust. That is not a doubled serif?
The irregularities down the centerline of the devices is a result of overpolishing. As well as the elongated striations on the bust.
I give up. I will just stick to my Lincoln's and toss the junk silver in the sack.
Thanks for your input and kindness to respond. As this is the only coin I ever considered for a TPG to look at,I now know I know nothing.

Thanks for the compliment about the pics Cmasterj. Full obverse and reverse on my very cheap phone and the help of an editing app . My full coin pics are not so good.
I use a Wifi enabled digital microscope for close up and edit with a photo app as well. That will explain the incosistacy of the various images as I edit them to express the best image from my perspective
I know many people have a problem getting images to meet the parameters for this forum as did I until I install a JPG image reducing app as well. Chose your image size and click. No special tricks here. I am very low tech here. No in home internet, no computer. This phone is well enough challenge for me. Almost as much as this coin adventure. We
