I selected this today out of a bag of unattributed Roman bronzes of generally mediocre (or worse) quality. I liked its style, & it was cheap enough.
Although I haven;t precisely pinned down this coin's identification, I'm confident it's an issue of Licinius II, a tragic figure executed while still a boy along with his father by Constantine the Great, who by virtue of this act became sole ruler of the Roman Empire.


I'm thinking this was most likely struck at Cyzicus.
