Hi, I am unable to ID this coin & need any help possible. I was told this is a Roman Empire about 180ad Commodus silver denarius. I have found several matches for the obverse. but nothing on the reverse. Thank you all for any help.
Very cool coin, I had the same problem some years ago with a Tiberius coin. The confusion is that it wasn't a denarius it was a drachm (Greek coinage). Your coin I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) is a didrachm.
