mgalb Valued Member Canada 78 Posts	Posted 07/21/2021 12:28 pm Metal detecting find. I took a good look at it and it looks like her eye is doubled to me. Anyone else see this? Been a good month for me with detecting. Also found a diamond and gold ring valued at over 10K!! Report this Post to the Staff

JohnWayne007 Pillar of the Community Canada 1186 Posts	Posted 07/21/2021 3:40 pm okiecoiner, I think its just angle and lighting playing tricks, both obverse photos do look different until you turn the second obverse photo in the correct orientation. IMO looks like a well placed hit making one eye look like two, but I dont deal with vicky dimes well enough to be confident. However after researching the coin more it looks like it is normal....just maybe a ding in the center of her eye. I must say her eye is huge and with the ding in the center it makes it look like two.
