Dosnt quite look the same, when I read up on bubbles though all I got for modern coins was the only way it happens is if the coin is super heated causing the outer layer to bubble up. I can't find any info online about plating bubbles on clad coins that are errors just heat damage.

Not all bubbles and blisters will look the same its almost impossible, some will be minor, some will be major, some will be round, some will be linear or oval or in clusters all over the surface like your 2000 W cent you posted.

An you are correct, most bubbles tend to be the result of heat after leaving the mint, the heat could have happened for many reasons either on purpose, or left outside in the hot sun in a parking lot or a dryer.

I agree,as far as I can tell other then PMD this can't happen on clad coins so no error as you said. Even die chips and cracks are more of an "error" I'll hold onto this piece for education, I actually don't mind the way it looks either so:p
