From the first image it looks like a coin scratch. It appears to be an incuse line. If it were a die crack/chip/break it would be raised, not an incuse line.

for now with a scratch on the coin. Better pictures are needed to be certain. A larger picture of the full coin would be nice as well. a natural color image with the light coming in from one direction will help to determine if it is raised or incuse on the coin.

I have 3 identical coins. At the moment this is the best shot I can get. But I will try again. I'd be obliged for any photo suggestions. I've not seen any like these in the usual error coin websites. I'm seeking your wise council as to whether this is a common error or should I send them to Wexler or somewhere else. Thanks for your commitment to this site. Lyle

Photos are too pixelated. This isn't a monitor screen shot, is it? If so, please photograph direct from camera to coin. Also, please remove coins from holders, that will help too. We usually ask for a whole photo of the obverse (direct on, not for the side), as well as a photo of the reverse, then one or two close-ups of areas of interest. Be specific in telling us what you see, then show us through photos. Thanks! to the CCF!

If you have 3 identical ones that does change things.

Quote: Well that looks very similar, need to see better of the coin in true color I think the crack turns a different direction from the base of the bust to the rim on the listing, where it looks like this one runs due south but would need a clear pic to tell. I just remembered this listing and it reminded me of the OP's
