I see several faded-out spots on this coin. What is that called?
Is this an error? Should I have it graded? Thank you for your help.
The word TRUST is barely there. I see fading in the back as well.

You have a partially grease-fill die, not real common, but common enough we see a lot of them here on CCF. Really very little if any premium with this. And no, it's not worth having it graded, as your final value after grading fees would be less than what you paid for the grading. Check ebay's SOLD listings and find a similar coin to determine value.

Certainly not worth the cost of third-party grading, whatever the cause ( worn die? minor grease-filled die?)

It is an over polished die issue. No premium for this, so having it graded would be a waste of money for a face value coin.
