This one has some of the most apparent doublings I have found on a coin. As the arrows show there are several letters that appear doubled as well parts of the building. I'm really hoping this one is legit because it's a significant amount.

Definitely not a doubled die, looks like Machine Doubling.

It is a nice example of MD. There are many types of doubling we all have to learn, here is a great link (click on the small pics on that site to enlarge photos) https://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles...Doubling.htm

After the strike there was a high bounce of the dies that hit the fresh ones and damaging them before they even got out of the chamber. This is very common and has no premium for them. New collectors buy these and later one they told they are just coin damage after the strike, and get mad. Note they are all on the same locations. On the outside edges of the devices. A doubled die is show a spread on the centers of the devices.

Note where the spread is on the lower image? They are in the centers of the devices, enlarging the devices. Also not the closed devices, the opening are smaller than the normal coins devices.

Excellent example of Machine Doubling. Suggest saving it as a reference example.
