Quote: Some nasty experience that I had were a couple of buyers from China claiming that they have not received the items despite shipping by registered mail. Needless to say I had to refund them at my loss. gxseries I have experienced similar situations but with US buyers, idiots are everywhere.

At that price level, it would be ethical to have them independently authenticated by a specialist professional. Beware - increasingly excellent fakes are about, and are selling into both the American and growing home Chinese numismatic markets.
I have seen cases in the past (with house and car dealing), where dumb honesty can come back to bite you.
My opinion, for what it is worth, is that they are OK, but not interested to buy without authentication.
I have a few Chinese provincial Dollars but they were bought in the $US15-$30 price range, more than 20 years ago. At that lower price range, authentication was not a big issue for me, and cost of authentication not justifiable. Fakes were more obvious at that time.
I have a specialist book reference: "Illustrated Catalogue of Chinese Gold & Silver Coins", by Lin Gwo Ming, Publ. Taisei Stamps Coins (HK) Ltd., ~ 200 illustrations, Chinese & parallel English text.
Some of the rarest Chinese provincial silver Dollars are listed in the $HK thousands, (in Unc), in this publication.
