It's had been a long time since I had CRHg. Quarters.
So I ordered a box from my bank and started going thru. the rolls. There were several 2021 crossing the Delaware,Tuskegee and A. Samoa and although mixed with circulated coins most of them look as if just were pulled out of the Mint roll.
Then there was this one with a sintered reverse.

Congrats.
Quarters aren't my thing but with the normal obverse and coming from unc rolls it sure lookes like you have found one.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Thanks. I hadn't done quarters for quite sometimes either, but it was interesting to see first hand what is being circulated.

Look more like an issue with a bad area on the reverse. If it were an annealing issue, why is the obverse normal? Both sides would be affected with this error.

Thanks coop, does the annealing issue always affect both sides?I have seen coins that were sintered only on one side and were graded by the TPG as improperly annealed. Now I am confused!
here is a better pic. it might help.

I feel that even coin wear, would not turn the color back to normal, on a black beauty coin. (My opinion)

I always thought/read it affected both sides.
