Did you take the sellers word that it is a 1918 ? $13 is no big loss but I would have never Bought that coin even if I needed an 18-D for anything over 25¢ .

Low VG, very possibly Details. Tough to judge surfaces. Possible ED, and reverse has a rim hit at K2. See what in hand pics bring.

I'm with T-Bop no bueno photos are too blurry to see any date at all.

Sometimes blowing up the photo isn't helpful in seeing the date. Not sure why folks had so much trouble - looked clear from sellers' photos and unmistakeable in the in-hand photos. Let me know if you similarly can't make it out in my photos. Thoughts? Thanks!

New pics I'll say VG10 straight grade. Close to Fine territory, but I think the reverse flatness and overall surfaces keep it to VG.

Regardless, nice pickup NS! I'd take this one all day for $13!
