It is probably incuse. If there really was an extra '1', where is the rest of the date. So I'm already leaning towards damage to the coin.

It doesn't show a punched in/pushed out area on the reverse. From the overlay, the affected area would be on the right roof area. I'm not seeing a push out there. So it is probably a glancing blow to the coin.

By looking at the shadows, it is incuse in which case it would be damage, not an extra 1.

thank you all for your response if it looks different I research first then ask the experts I'm still looking that doubled die some day maybe.
