Along with the other old coins you all have been helping with I picked this chain up with -1890 62 1/4 Real all attached by silver chain. How would I value or should I break up chain and sell individually? I took pictures of a Few Random coins but generally they are all same condition. I do all this to help pay down my Medical bills unfortunately.

Don't think it will be worth your time to break them apart, as they have already been welded and considered damaged.

As a chain they are cool, and some collector might want them, maybe.

Nobody would want a single coin as it is just a damaged coin. As a complete unit, it has some interest. I personally have a small collection of this kind of material, so if it comes into my LCS I buy it, but only for the silver value. I am sure that there are others like me, but this is a fairly small collector group.

Unless it's a scarce year, it's not worth doing it. Better off selling as it is and it often sells more than you think
