1919 No Mint Mark Wheat Penny. Possible Error?

It would appear the L in Liberty is missing. Not sure if this was caused over time, or if it's a press error. Please let me know what you think!

The "L" is there. It is just that it almost touches the rim when minted so as the coin wears, they blend together.

The 'L' is there just weak, however,

I'm more interested in the possible lamination issue in front of Lincoln's nose

Weight? 3.11 grams if normal. But if it is under, the coin maybe thinned on that area. If the weight is normal it is probably a Struck Through Grease issue. But the damage on the field turns it into a wheat pile cent coin.
