Hey guys. I'm currently at work and don't have my camera or microscope to get good pics but will post tomorrow morning with some pics. I believe I found a very very large double die reverse on the Washington crosses the Delaware river quarter it's not die doubling or machine but it has crisp edges not mashed out or spread and it's not all the design elements just one or two. How would I go about getting it registered at DDR 1 or something like that. Just trying to figure it out. Went thru a whole box of them this evening.

Is the doubling at the center of the die? The way that modern dies are made makes it pretty much impossible to have doubling on only certain design elements unless it occurs at the center of the design.

First step (other than posting here) would be to send the coin off to John Wexler. All the information on how to do that can be found on his website. https://www.doubleddie.com/402401.html
