The eye looks like it has a cut from being hit by another coin or two in the mint bins where they are dumped before the get bagged or rolled up somewhere along the line. Extremely common, especially on new Jefferson design for some reason.
On the reverse is the result of a chip in the die that struck it. They sometimes start out smaller and as more coins get struck by that die the chip can get larger until it gets replaced,

You're most welcome. I suppose that if I gave you incorrect info, somebody would have commented. Look for others with die chips in that same area of Monticello. It is a common place for this issue and some people call them "hornet nests" but they don't have much added value.
It is fun to collect "progression sets".

These sets start out with die cracks which come first from the dies and progress into chips as pieces of the die break off at the crack which will leave identical shapes particular to that die.
They can then progress to larger chips as they wear and strike more coins.
You can sometimes put together a set of maybe 4 or so coins struck from the same die as they deteriorate further.

A nice set would be worth more to a collector than individual examples.

Nice example of die chips on the reverse. Agree with the hit above the eye.

Worth grading? No, final value after grading would mean you lost bigtime. Grading would cost $50+ and the final value slabbed would be $5 or so. To me, it's not even worth keeping let alone grading.
