Rocky, what exactly does this confirm for you? It has been deemed as post mint damage...

@rocky I'm not sure what your talking about on this one. I still have that loonie I originally posted about when I first started searching coins, and because iv still yet to see anything like it. But this specific post I was wrong for sure. Definitely glue or something even though it looked indented. I cleaned the coin tonight and it looked normal if your seeing something outside what I thought was wrong let me know but everyone here was correct, adhesive causing the Illusion of what looked like inverted damage.

I still have not accepted the original posts about PMD on my loonie or toning it's just to dark and clean and shiny but this one at least what I posted about was just glue or tape residue.

Wrekkdd I have the mate to your coin. the difference is mine is in mint condition. your still has a very good grade on your coin. ok Wrekkdd here you go . if you look real close at the designers initials on your dime. it has a patch over the letter H ok . I have found a couple of these in rolls. they are also in the proof like sets. I have found 2 prooflike sets out of 200 sets that have the patch as well. I did that today . also some of the H initals are multi punched. good searching Wrekkdd keep up the good work.

@rockey,the thing I was suspecting as an error was infact some sort of adhesive though I was oblivious to this until I touched the coins face with a toothpick. The only coin I still have around is my original loonie that I posted around when I first became active. Iv still yet to find a toned loonie that comes close to it.
If you have something you would like to share and compare on my posts please just post an image of your finds and how it is the same or similar as mine. Iv yet to find anything worth keeping other then the best condition coins I find, any error I have posted was minor and not really worth saving for the most part.... Iv saved a couple of them but mainly for my own researching.
I love everyone's opinions but I don't believe in blind faith. I need information and confirmation. I look for errors(none of my 1€ yet but every year and denomination I post about I research.
@rocky, so if there is something you are seeing outside what I talked about I can look more into it. But what I posted about with the error was completely wrong.

Rocky are you refering to the filled in "H" I found back in early 2020? If so its all in this post. http://goccf.com/t/376272&SearchTerms=2019They really arent that special, when I discovered the first one I found many, many more afterword so they are fairly common.

Good eye on the H mint mark@ rockey I didn't even notice it.
@johnwayn007. I saw your post on this, seems it's a common error on this year dime ? Usually I ignore the mint marks and initials because they are so small. In your post it turned more into a conversation about the beads on your coin. So what caused the square H?

On the "H", just think about what the die itself looked like. You should do this with every "supposed" error that you find and ask the question "how did this happen?" The small portions of solid unrecessed steel in the "H" on the die couldn't take the striking force and broke off into a recessed square in the flat field.

Wrekkdd, Yes it is the result of the post in the middle of the "H" broken off, on the working die the "H" is sunken in but the center post of the "H" is raised and very tiny and can easily break. Die chips on dimes are really common due to how small they are, these 2016 dimes are a good example. http://goccf.com/t/389399&SearchTerms=2016,dime
