My friend at the bank said he would buy all the penny rolls they currently have and sell them to me for face value, iv never penny searched, this will be my first time being able to get pennies.
My main question is for you penny experts. I'd like to know what to keep my eyes out for, year wise. And I think a magnet is needed for penny hunting, what years should I check for magnetic or not.

@mcshilling that's the site I normally use, but it's seems kind of limited. And it calls all doubling the same thing, does not specify years to look for DDO or DDR. It mentions MD as a variety and or error. Mentions die cracks as well and chips. I'm looking for more specific info

I'll be using that while I'm searching but specific dates and errors would be helpful. Like I got the 2015 quarter DD but it's Machine Doubling so was worthless even looking through those years for the doubling

I see some George penny enders just in the photos, hopefully a good sign. Haven't had time to read up on pennies yet.

So as far as iv read 1953-56 are key dates, some older ones I doubt I'll find in these rolls like 1930 and earlier but who knows. Also 2006 I'll keep my eye out for

If it has mint logo and magnetic it not the one your looking for. You are looking for no logo
