This is what Abraham Lincoln looked like before his death. It is also our good friend ceaton's avatar at present and I thought I had this someplace within a few feet of me and I found it tonight.
Feel free to copy it. I can scan this at a later time but I don't have my scanner connected yet if anyone wants me to do this for you.

The caption and info under image reads:

From the collection of Frederick H. Meserve
Abraham Lincoln

A copy of a photograph made on April 10th, 1865, made by Alexander Gardner, of Washington.
This is Lincoln's last picture - a face of infinite suffering and pathos. The negative was accidentally broken and only one print was made from it.
