Sorry for all the posts with the American pennies, they seem to have all sorts of things I don't usually see on Canadian coins. I was looking at this penny and I'm sure it's probably just another for of DD but it looks like a big die crack going right through Abe and coming out his forehead, and a bigger die issue under liberty, can anyone confirm what this is for me please

There may be some damage too but it looks mostly like plating issues, linear plating bubbles.

The big line that goes through his face and out the forehead looks raised to me, and curved like a die crack. The faised area under liberty is probably a gas bubble, same with in front of Abe's forehead I think

I'd have to agree with a plating issue. Zinc dust under the copper plating may be expanding into an eventual zinc rot issue.
