I would say as long as the board is long term safe and it's not hanging over a heat source it should be fine, just my humble opinion.

Did you frame them yourself or was it bought like that. If it was then more then likely the coins have been polished and glued anyways thus killing any value they might have had.

It depends on the coins, their grade, and especially the framing materials.
Some of the materials framing your coins could always break down in sunlight or "outgas" and react and/or leave deposits.

I have put together, framed and hung up lots of sets over the years and have had no ill effects of the coins being damaged by sun. Biggest concern would be how strong is the frame. I did have one set of quarters fall of the wall when my daughter bounced a ball and the coins went from high grade specimens to scratched to bits from the glass shattering.

Even with the risk.... I much prefer beautiful coins on my walls instead of pictures on my walls.

If they're worth anything, take them out, put them in Airtites and put them back in. hehehehehehe

EDIT: One bad thing about these...target for theives! Then again, they might just walk right by it! LOLOLOL

This was my main concern I thought that they might tarnish on the one side thats exposed faceing out.
