Looking at this little guy the other day finally decided to ask about it. Just wanna make sure I understand everything correct, so under the 7 in1971 on the obverse would be a collar die clash right? And then my next biggest thing, is the die crack by the y in liberty a Cud or just a big crack I looked on Cuds on coins and I didn't see this one however seen one that looks super close the only difference is its on the t instead... looking for you input. Doesn't look like rim damage no dings from what I can see..

There are a couple in similar areas to yours, maybe an earlier stage or a new one. Nice find!

That's where I was looking on Cuds on coins and it looks like the one referenced cu-50c-1971-03 EXCEPT ints on the Y INSTEAD the die crack fades but does look like it goes back into the rim on the other side but is very VERY faint

All of the 71D listing but the 03 are Rim Cuds, I see no reason why yours would not be considered a full on Cud, it goes down into the field. It would be worth sending pics to JC. The 03 is in a different location.

Cuds on Coins, the link I sent you. Look on the left side of the home page, third up from the bottom, click on it and follow the directions.
