I agree with collar clash and a die crack with die chip,not a Cud.Also might have a minor Rim Fin? John1

That's where I was looking on Cuds on coins and it looks like the one referenced cu-50c-1971-03 EXCEPT ints on the Y INSTEAD the die crack fades but does look like it goes back into the rim on the other side but is very VERY faint

All of the 71D listing but the 03 are Rim Cuds, I see no reason why yours would not be considered a full on Cud, it goes down into the field. It would be worth sending pics to JC. The 03 is in a different location.
