The whole issue is far rarer than it's Canadian counterpart however for whatever reason the coins just don't attract the same level of interest. Report this Post to the Staff

A few very interesting variants. There are also lots of super-rare 'white whale' coins out there. Like, for example, is there another obverse 2 1871 5 cent out there somewhere? I am saying for years: one morning we wake up and that is the night US collectors wave woken up, and all NL coins above VF are triple + !!! hopefully, I am still alive when this happens.
