The 1883 with cents RAW that he has go from $5 all the way to $110 for an MS 60. A comparable VF/XF details will go from $30-$40 depending on the condition. It having environmental damage and the large scratch would put in on the lower scale. I found your coin elsewhere and I think you did quite well for a "With Cents" 1883 type II V or Liberty nickel in this condition at that price.
