I noticed a strange hair style on my penny along with a strange ear and some facial hair under his lip.. not a beard but that little patch some guys grow out right below the middle of the bottom lip.. I just wanted to know if anyone else has seen this? The back is messed up tho.

The fields appear altered. The ear issue is normal.

In the future, please show a photo of both sides of the complete coin and put the year in the heading.
It can help in determining the problem.
On your posting we don't even know if it is a copper coin or a zincoin.

we always ask for two full photos (front and back), then a close up or two of areas of interest. Thanks.

Thanks for the (nearly) full pictures. At least we know it is a copper coin.
I don't see anything on that coin that can't be attributed to wear and circulation damage over the last 50 years.

The hair on his head is a 1950's Elvis/Fonzy S-curl. How can his hair style change by normal wear and tear?
