I made the mistake of not learning about the damage that moisture can do to coins. Living in a humid environment is enough to cause havoc. So I have gobs of old coins, that are worthless. Some have black dots, stains and some have severe zinc rot. Lesson learned.

Looks normal from what I see. The coin should not be plated if this is a nickel? (No date or denomination mentioned)
