Looks like a mid bounce of Machine Doubling. (Note the glare is shining on the left side of the devices)

Guessing 002 but difficult to tell, the Date is different, but the other tells on the obverse are there. On the reverse the little diagonal and the loop on UN of united are not there, but there are lines on and through the E of ONE and the small dot between the E & N of CENT and the line between T & E looks like it's there. The coins brightness makes it tough because of light adjustment tends to blur the small tells out.

I meant to say the RPM is different. Not the Date. The Pics of the Tellsw are really blown up on Copper coins.

Well there was a punch retired that year because of a weakness on the lower serif. Your coin has the damaged punch issue. That was why they created a new punch that year.

You have a tremendous amount of glare in your photos but that is ok here for this year and MM Cent. The known 1962-D Lincoln Cent DDO's show very minuscule doubling around the date which your coin unfortunately does not have. I don't believe your coin is a doubled die obverse. Looks more like what Coop said, Machine Doubling.

Hi there allcoinsaregood and everyone else. This is what I see on your coin. I'd bet my Dog that there is a rotated roughly 92 degrees clockwise die clash/remnant column right in front of Abe's Chin. Its visible in your first picture. Y'all folks are going to have to zoom in like I can using my phone. I downloaded the OPs picture and outlined the clash. I'd love to see that coin in hand. Pictures are so difficult sometimes! Hopefully this helps you some. It also explains why I find these so often CRH myself, because not everyone sees differences automatically. Have a great day. EE

I USED A SECOND LAMP BECAUSE IT HELPS HIGHLIGHT THE COIN LIKE THE MD.

Here is what the image shows us: This is what your are seeing on the coin (MD) that we can't see because of the glare on the coin. (Inverted colors are showing us what is really going on with your coin)

I think it is the damaged mm punch.

Coop, a question! Are you using Photoshop or another system to color invert the image. I use the old Picasa system(Google) to convert the image to a JPEG image for the Coin Community website.

Photoshop. The quick link to see it is on your program is CTRL+I It turns the colors into the opposite colors.
