Sorry am new to collecting. Have been trying to google similar error but can't find an answer. Think my search didn't describe accurately hence can't find the answer... The dents on the coin (at the Queen's ear) seems to look like rim marks but this is a newly minted coin and they are held in coin tube... do they look like PMD or mint error please? Thank you!

@nsu, first welcome to CCF. Second, that looks like the Queen's ear has taken a hit from the reeded edge of another coin to me too. If this coin was packaged at the mint, then it may have happened there and still doesn't "count" as a mint error, but rather just damage.

As that could not have happened during the striking of the coin,
it is PMD even if it did happen at the mint.
