That is one cool looking coin. Corrosion or not, I've never seen one, to be honest I didn't know what it was until I opened your profile image up and enlarged it enough to read the text and put that into Google. as I said I know next to nothing about ancient Greek or Roman coinage, I have done a little studying of Byzantine coinage, but that's about it. I actually thought it was something akin to a Vermont Copper at first glance in the little profile image.Now it make sense with your CCF name.

I should have spent more time learning about ancient coins when I lived near Kerry Wetterstrom, and saw him at every coin show and at the ANA all the time. He is one of our top American ancient coin experts.
