I just picked this one up to replace the 1879 S PL.

The one in the set wasnt exactly the best example of a PL, and this guy cuyght my eye, especially because I won with a low ball bid.

And for anyone following, the 1895 O is on its way back to PCGS for a reconsider and at the least a slab fix.

I added a note that the it was a fresh slab, and if as much attention went into the grading as slabbing it, maybe they should take another look LOL.

Ill update it when it gets back

Any how, take a shot at this one, seller's pictures.

I'll say MS-65 as well. I was leaning more towards 64, but I don't have a ton of experience grading.
Rest in Peace

It would need to be MS66 to upgrade your 65PL if we're talking numerical grade...

I am at 65. It looks like a nice example, but I do not like it at 66 as too much chatter on the cheek for a 66.

Agree with Slider23. The chatter on the cheek keeps it at MS65.

sharp and bold strike. good luster and eye appeal. the cheek marks will reduce the grade for surface preservation. overall this is pretty coin like many from this year. I think the cheek will hold it to MS65

MS-64PL for me. I can't see this above that with all the facial marks.
