Here's a breakdown of your friends coins....Regards Paul.
First is Harshadeva...One of the Hindu kings of Kashmir.
Harsha 1089-1101 AD (1st Lohara dynasty)
Copper Kaserah or Punchshi (should be around 18mm diameter and approx 6grams)?
Obverse- Goddess Ardochsho/Lakshmi seated facing in half lotus position, with Nagari legend 'Ha' to left 'rsha' to right
Reverse- King standing facing and sacrificing at altar holding trident, with Nagari legend 'Deva' bottom
right.
Second is Kalasaraja deva(Nice example) ...Another Hindu king of Kashmir.
Kalasa 1076-1089 AD (1st Lohara dynasty) Copper Kaserah (dimensions approx as above)
Obverse- Goddess Ardochsho/Lakshmi seated facing in half lotus position, with Nagari legend 'Ka to left 'lasara' to right.
Reverse- King standing facing and sacrificing at altar holding trident, with Nagari legend 'jadeva' bottom right.
Third also comes from Kashmir but from after the muslim takeover, Probably Ismail Shah 1538-1540 AD.
