Hi! I got some nice near-mint Lincoln pennies from my grandfather when he passed away. I think I found a penny with DDR on it. can someone confirm?

Just Machine Doubling. Note on the last 'S' on 'STATES', you can see the the outside edges of the devices are affected instead of the centers of the devices. Machine Doubling happens on the outsides of devices and removes the contour of the coins devices. A doubled die would have the devices enlarged.

Note on all of these devices, the verticals are showing the spread in the centers of the devices, making them wider. On your coin the MD is reducing the size of the devices.
