There are some exceptionally well made fakes of these, and have already been reported here in the CCF, complete with pictures. I have no doubt that the best fakes have been made from recycled .925 coin silver.
In consideration of this, it is difficult be be certain to give an entirely reliable opinion on a Gothic Crowns that may be pictured on screen.

To my eye coin looks OK, but that doesn't mean much in this case.
Under these circumstances, probably the best way to authenticate this coin would be to ask for an authentication and grading from a top level Third Party Grading service, which would also be aware of the possibility of highly deceiving fakes.
Unfortunately, this coin will almost certainly come back with 'details' comment with the obvious damage near Vikkie's chin, and for that reason, they may decline even to grade it. Let's hope that is not the case, because if they think there is a possibly may be be a fake, it will be returned without a grading.
