This one is just for fun. One of the most acid-washed of the acid-washed I've ever found where you can still read the date. Certainly weren't trying to make it into a dime-sized coin, but apparently seeing how little they could have left and still kind of have a coin.

This is a good example for those people who don't believe a acid soaked coin would still have details. This one is 80% gone and still legible.

It kind of reminds me of an old Roman copper piece. Just has a unique look to it and as noted, a nice example of acid leaving devices readable.

This reminds me of a shipwreck coin damaged by salt water. Both the effect of the salt and the rock-tumbler effect on the coin does similar damage over time.

I think that it is well beyond a "wash"! It has barely survived.
