(2010 p) on the window to the right of the stairs in the middle, the top of the w ok now there is an a piece of metal separate from the border of the window. Is that a possible doubled die? Or a super small die chip?

Looks like a contact mark. The DDRs, are closer inwards on the top of the door area:

Also note that the affected area is raised above the design? Not an incuse mark into the design. Damage makes incuse marks into the coin 99% of the time.

Thanks coop,so this is to far from the center to possibly be a doubled die. Now I know where to look in the future.

Also the area you are looking at was altered with a contact mark. The center areas are the movement of the hub area. All the rest of the design is changed to the full strike, except the central area.

Very helpful, so this is where the single squeeze dies cause doubling in modern nickels? What year did they start using the single squeeze dies?

Full overall photos (both sides) are always helpful. Sometimes full coin photos can tell us more than closeups.

Don't think full photos will help with this one, if this isn't a spot a doubled die can occur, but for the sake of it here. I was just reading coops huge doubled die Post (or one of them) lol. So out of curiosity can doubled dies only happen in the very center or anywhere along that X axis? Because there is still modern doubled die pennies that have doubled dates based on coops info. Or do pennies not use single squeeze dies?
