My Grandpa Called Me A Dingbat For Putting This In My Just A Quarter Pile (1996 D)

amina6297 New Member United States 37 Posts	Posted 08/26/2021 7:24 pm Hey guys it's me again idk if I shared why I began coin hunting but it's because my Grandpa has loved it his whole life he has Dementia and it's gotten really bad this is how I spend time with him and try to keep him hear, anyhow I placed this quarter in my just a quarter bucket Grandpa snatched the salt water taffys he just gave me out of my hand called me a dingbat and kicked me out of his room. I've looked several times but I can't seem to see what he does. Am I really dingbat or is Grandpa mistaken * Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. I'm not seeing anything substantial. I'm thinking maybe Grampa got a sudden urge to keep the saltwater taffy for himself? EDIT: Maybe "it" was on the reverse unless he thought the ear lobe was doubled? (looks to be a hit to me though.) Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/27/2021 2:11 pm Looks like a coin contact issue. Note the push on the 'BE' devices with an incuse mark.
