Hey guys it's me again idk if I shared why I began coin hunting but it's because my Grandpa has loved it his whole life he has Dementia and it's gotten really bad this is how I spend time with him and try to keep him hear, anyhow I placed this quarter in my just a quarter bucket Grandpa snatched the salt water taffys he just gave me out of my hand called me a dingbat and kicked me out of his room. I've looked several times but I can't seem to see what he does. Am I really dingbat or is Grandpa mistaken

We have a lot of dingbats and goofy grandpas on this forum, so you're not alone either way. I qualify on both counts.

Don't see anything special on the obverse.
Maybe Grandpa saw something on the reverse

. Between 2k-4k maybe a minor MAD or collar clash. Can't really tell by the slightly out of focus pic.

There are lots of circulation dings, but I can't quite tell what's going on above George's head between the B and E in LIBERTY.

I don't see anything notable on the obverse. What about a reverse pic?

He's lucky to have you and don't give up on him. He needs you more than he knows.

I'm not seeing anything substantial.
I'm thinking maybe Grampa got a sudden urge to keep the saltwater taffy for himself?

EDIT: Maybe "it" was on the reverse unless he thought the ear lobe was doubled? (looks to be a hit to me though.)

It looks like George's 2x4 fell on his head, leaving damage on the coin.
Suffering from bust half fever.

Looks like a coin contact issue. Note the push on the 'BE' devices with an incuse mark. That is coin contact another coin. If it were a die gouge, it would raised from the fields. It appears to be incuse.
