Not the prettiest, but was able to pull it for $80 at the local coin show this past weekend. I'm horrible with SLQ's, but Id put it in the AU58, possibly MS62. Not alot of contact marks, but there are breaks in the luster at the high points. Thoughts?

Some rubbing on the high points. AU-58. Great coin with a full head.

Another beautiful coin! It does appear to have a little wear, and if it does, I think AU-58 is correct.

Nice one! No opinion on the grade, but I like the strike and surfaces. This may be WDDO 25 cent 1930-001.

You might just be right! If I zoom in on the pics, I am pretty sure I see some split serifs on the date.

@Ty2020b, could you please post larger pics of the date?

Good eye guys! Appears to be WMDO-001, Master Die Doubling, common. Best shot I could get at the moment, so not great.

The keys for WDDO-001 would be "IN GOD" and "LIB" of LIBERTY. The key marker is the die polishing lines NNE from the first left star. Closeups of these areas could lock it.
Rest in Peace

AU-58 , environment toned it down to a dirty looking obverse . A little wear shows on a meaty SLQ .

Not a fan of the curb appeal, must admit.

@fortcollins, won't be able to get close enough shots of the areas in question, but it's not the WDDO-001, no die scratches at all present around IGWT. Just the master die doubling.
