I would like to hear some thoughts on where this Cent could Grade. It came out of a really old flip that was falling apart, excuse the left behind paper/lint.

Personally, F-15. Most will probably say VF-20.
Rest in Peace

Looks pretty darn close to the 08-S I just posted, so I'm at F15, possibly VF20, but will have to agree with TBop, Details, obv damage.

I think Coinfrog is correct, I'm a stickler for straight grading, I dunno why, just am.

Yes it is Smat45, that is the only reason I bought the Cent with the damage. Snow-8, NGC FS-301, PCGS FS-401.

Looks like I can safely put F15 Details/Damage on my holder for future reference. Thanks Guys!

As a student of Grading, just curious. For those who see VF, would it be because you think LIBERTY was just weakly struck and looks F15, but the rest of the details looks VF? Thanks for any feedback.

Net Fine, too many serious hits. I saw the MPD right away. I had an AU58 example at one time.
