1886 Morgan Dollar Clashed Reverse - Coin Community Forum

dcas55 New Member United States 44 Posts	Posted 08/29/2021 08:31 am Looking through some Morgan dollars, trying to learn about VAMs I found this 1886 with what appears to be a die clash on the reverse. panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18668 Posts	Posted 08/29/2021 09:36 am usually sharp this 86(P) is a tad short especially the reverse on the left wing tip and the leaves around the ribbon area. under that toning she looks like her luster is intact but its very difficult to determine that on the cheek. the eye appeal is not bad but not great as the toning is starting to move to the black in areas. could be a fingerprint on the reverse at K9 under UNITED. a few minor scratches on both sides. if the luster is not broke then MS64, if not MS63+ Report this Post to the Staff
