1985 Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Stuck Off Center/Doubled Die Obverse / DDO / Doubled Die Reverse / DDR ?

Coindom76 Valued Member United States 205 Posts	Posted 08/31/2021 11:54 pm Hey all, This 1985 LMC appears to be struck off center. I'm not positive whether it was struck off of center enough to get excited about?. It also looks like a match for the WDDO-001 as well as WDDR-002. A question I have is does a coin being struck offset affects doubling markers,ect, within doubled die coins? As I have mentioned, I'm still green to understanding the different types of doubling within doubled die classifications. My second question to the community is whether a die clash cracking is taken into account when new doubled dies are discovered? Or is this just as said, doubling caused by a die clash?. What does the community think about this 1985 LMC? Any feedback regarding this LMC ot my questions would be appreciated. Thanks, Coindom76 Report this Post to the Staff

Just die wear and faulty machine looseness. Both are common and do not warrant a premium. Just spendable change. Report this Post to the Staff
