I'm at AU55 it's got a great old cameo look to it. I don't see any obvious cleaning or other issues so straight grade as well.

Tough one. I think what we perceive as wear could be a trick of toning, strike and lighting, so I'll go out on a limb and say MS64. I don't see any major dings or the scratches above and below ONE DIME typically seen on AU coins. Besides, guesses are free. It's a beautiful coin.

i had it at AU53. was throwing around 55 in my head but the lack of luster pushed it down for me

It's a very nice Barber dime. The super detail and circ cameo give it super eye appeal. A real keeper. I apologize for leaning to AU50 in my previous post here.

@TNG. No need to apologize. An educated guess is all that is sought here. Just trying to keep one's grading skills sharp without necessarily saying the grade on the slab is correct 100% of the time.
