Copper Lincoln Memorial Cent- Capped Die Error - Missing Copper Obv?

The reason I say this is that the obverse is missing its rim, while the reverse is showing the rim. If the coin were full weight, then it may have been what you mentioned as a struck through a capped die. But on the capped die rims, the rims are more saucer like. Not showing a rounded rim. There is no trace of wrinkles or "tendrils" extending from the letters or numbers. The absence of a "wire rim", the slightly reduced weight, and the odd color add to my suspicions.
