2001 P Dime - Need Help - Coin Community Forum

There are a few things that stood out but I'm not sure what it's from. I couldn't find any 2001 dimes listed on any of the usual sites to reference. I'm sure someone here can tell me what it is. The line down the top right of the torch is the most pronounced area. As always, thanks for looking. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/07/2021 12:39 am Note the die flow lines. First clue for die aging. The devices on that area that are moving, looks like a DDD issue going on with the die. The DDRs are located more in the central areas of the design. So this is not a DDR. The question about the torch on your Dime is also a tribute to a worn out die, Die Deterioration Doubling. There is nothing about your dime that is of a premium.
