At first glance (looking only at the O), the feature looks like pushed/displaced metal from a glancing hit long ago--like a shaving. Just an initial impression.

I thought the same, but then I couldn't find from where the extra metal would have come from..
A large die crack? that is crazy (and awesome) all at once.

That's what I thought as well Dearborn. It didn't look like the O had been shaved off. But maybe it is an old hit?
