The serial not only lacks any even digits, it is also a prime number. Would this note be "appreciable" you think? I'm not selling it BTW.  |

Nice cutting error. The general rule of thumb about fancy serial numbers is, if you have to explain why you think it's special, chances are it's not. Can you provide a scan/photo of the back please ?

Yeah I know that rule Steve thank you ;-) For me it's fancy enough as I know why but the note has more than the number of course. Although I probably still paid too much for it LOL. Here's the back:  |

How does one know if someone fabricated that error from an uncut sheet of dollar bills?

Series 1988A $1 FRN collector sheets were numbered starting with serial numbers above 96000000. That, and if you check the available blocks used, you'll see that the F-G block was not used for sheets. http://www.uspapermoney.info/general/uncut.html |

Nice error! While I was a geophysicist by profession, my education was in mathematics so I like that serial number, as well! |
