Brand new here, this is my first post. So I've been coin roll hunting here and there for the past few years. Last week after picking up a few hundred dollars worth of halves, the bank teller offered me "$55 in rolled pennies that some old lady brought in shoebox the other day." I of course snatched them up. I'm still sorting them out by decades, but I've already found some amazing coins including indian heads. Anyway, I just found this 1957 D and noticed it seems to have a double die strike on the mint mark and the word "we" but I'm very inexperienced when it comes to grading and errors (i usually coin roll hunt for silver). i'll upload some pics I just took. any help would be appreciated
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds In MS-65 it is worth $15. It would cost about $50 to have it slabbed. Sound like it a good deal to you, to loose $35? Only if it would have graded MS-65? Not to me.
