I have a 1958 penny ( no mint mark) that weighs 3.36g. I always weigh my coins and verify my scale is accurate daily. #8304;

With the tolerance factored in, the maximum weight should be 3,23g
so it is slightly overweight.
Probably a slightly thicker planchet.

Just make sure you weigh a few other Wheat cent and they come in much closer to the right amount. Otherwise you might have a 3.23g with a calibartion error of 0.1 g.
