This year will mark the 70th anniversary of the event. I don't believe these medals, which are slightly larger than silver dollar sized, have been struck or distributed for at least a few decades now. He was the original voice of the father, but got a cameo as the grandfather when they did a refresh in the 90s (before he passed away). There's a great big beautiful tomorrow. His 1950 film "Under Mexicali Stars" was about the smuggling of Mexican 50 peso Centenario gold coins and featured Rex hanging from the bottom of a helicopter.
